Belfast, April 6, 2011 The Scope charity event at the Ramada, Shaws Bridge in Belfast was a great success with over £5,000 raised in just that one evening.  This formal evening was organised by Samantha Shaw in order to raise awareness for Scope and the project to trek across Cambodia.

Diamond Teeth Whitening played just a very small part in this charity event by donating a teeth whitening treatment and aftercare kit to be auctioned.  “Scope is an extremely worthwhile charity, with a vision where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people; and we were delighted to be helping support their fund raising efforts in a small way” said David Wilson, Diamond Teeth Whitening Northern Ireland.

In addition to the event on the 1st April, Samantha Shaw is taking part in an additional fund-raising event by trekking across Cambodia in November.  The aim of this trek is to build new homes for Cambodian families and raise vital funds to support Scope’s work with disabled people.

We are sure this trek will make a fantastic contribution to both the lives of Cambodian families and to help continue Scope’s excellent work with disabled people.
